| 12 | 12 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 13 | | SECTION 1. Section 108.051(1), Occupations Code, is amended |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | to read as follows: |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | (1) "Health care professional" means: |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (A) a dentist licensed under Subtitle D; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (B) a dental hygienist licensed under Chapter |

| 18 | 18 | | 262; |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (C) a hearing instrument fitter and dispenser |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | licensed under Chapter 402; |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | (D) a nurse, including an advanced practice |

| 22 | 22 | | registered nurse, licensed under Chapter 301; |

| 23 | 23 | | (E) an occupational therapist licensed under |

| 24 | 24 | | Chapter 454; |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | (F) an optometrist or therapeutic optometrist |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | licensed under Chapter 351; |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | (G) a pharmacist licensed under Subtitle J; |

| 28 | 28 | | (H) a physical therapist licensed under Chapter |
