| 8 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 9 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Section 478.0107, Government Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 10 | 12 | | to read as follows: |
|---|
| 11 | 13 | | (a) Not later than the 10th month after the last day of an |
|---|
| 12 | 14 | | event eligible for disbursements from the fund, using existing |
|---|
| 13 | 15 | | resources, the [office] local organizing committee, endorsing |
|---|
| 14 | 16 | | municipality, or endorsing county shall complete a study in the |
|---|
| 15 | 17 | | market area of the event on the measurable economic impact directly |
|---|
| 16 | 18 | | attributable to the preparation for and presentation of the event. |
|---|
| 17 | 19 | | (b) The [office] local organizing committee, endorsing |
|---|
| 18 | 20 | | municipality, or endorsing county shall post on the [office's] its |
|---|
| 19 | 21 | | Internet website: |
|---|
| 20 | 22 | | (1) the results of the study conducted under |
|---|
| 21 | 23 | | Subsection (a), including any source documentation or other |
|---|
| 22 | 24 | | information on which the [office] local organizing committee, |
|---|
| 23 | 25 | | endorsing municipality, or endorsing county relied for the study; |
|---|
| 24 | 26 | | (2) the incremental increase in tax receipts for the |
|---|
| 25 | 27 | | event determined under Section 478.0102 and any source |
|---|
| 26 | 28 | | documentation or information described by Section 478.0251 on which |
|---|
| 27 | 29 | | the office relied to determine that increase; |
|---|
| 28 | 30 | | (3) the documentation described by Section |
|---|
| 29 | 31 | | 478.0101(3); and |
|---|
| 30 | 32 | | (4) documentation verifying that: |
|---|
| 31 | 33 | | (A) a request submitted under Section 478.0101 is |
|---|
| 32 | 34 | | complete and certified as complete by the office; |
|---|
| 33 | 35 | | (B) the office considered the information |
|---|
| 34 | 36 | | submitted by a local organizing committee, endorsing municipality, |
|---|
| 35 | 37 | | or endorsing county to determine the incremental increase in tax |
|---|
| 36 | 38 | | receipts under Section 478.0102 as required by Section 478.0102(b); |
|---|
| 37 | 39 | | and |
|---|
| 38 | 40 | | (C) each deadline established under this chapter |
|---|
| 39 | 41 | | was met. |
|---|
| 40 | 42 | | SECTION 2. The following provision is repealed: |

| 41 | 43 | | (1) Section 480.152, Government Code. |
|---|
| 42 | 44 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
