| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter J, Chapter 2301, Occupations Code, is | |
| 12 | 12 | amended by adding Section 2301.484 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 2301.484. REQUIRED RADIATION WARNING LABEL ON ELECTRIC | |
| 14 | 14 | VEHICLES. (a) In this section, "electric vehicle" means a motor | |
| 15 | 15 | vehicle powered only by electricity or battery. | |
| 16 | 16 | (b) A manufacturer of electric vehicles shall include on | |
| 17 | 17 | each electric vehicle produced by the manufacturer a warning label | |
| 18 | 18 | indicating the level of radiation produced by the electric vehicle. | |
| 19 | 19 | (c) The board shall adopt any rules necessary to implement | |
| 20 | 20 | this section. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
