| 8 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 9 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, |

| 10 | 12 | | is amended by adding Section 225.243 to read as follows: |

| 11 | 13 | | Sec. 225.243. HAMBY-WEBB MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. (a) State |
|---|
| 12 | 14 | | Highway 315 in Panola County is designated as the Hamby-Webb |
|---|
| 13 | 15 | | Memorial Highway. The designation is in addition to any other |
|---|
| 14 | 16 | | designation. |
|---|
| 15 | 17 | | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: |

| 16 | 18 | | (1) design and construct markers indicating the |
|---|
| 17 | 19 | | designation as the Hamby-Webb Memorial Highway and any other |
|---|
| 18 | 20 | | appropriate information; and |
|---|
| 19 | 21 | | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at |
|---|
| 20 | 22 | | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. |
|---|
| 21 | 23 | | SECTION 2. It is the intent of the 89th Legislature, Regular |
|---|
| 22 | 24 | | Session, 2025, that the provisions added by this Act be renumbered |
|---|
| 23 | 25 | | to prevent multiple provisions with the same designation. |
|---|
| 24 | 26 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
