| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Granberry met as students at W. B. Ray |

| 12 | 13 | | High School in Corpus Christi, and they were joined in matrimony in |

| 13 | 14 | | 1965; over the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family |

| 14 | 15 | | that includes their daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Jeffrey |

| 15 | 16 | | Alsup and Kimberley and Jeffrey Altizer, as well as their |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | grandchildren, Clare, Anna, Lucia, Anne, Benjamin, and Katherine; |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, The couple attended The University of Texas at |

| 19 | 20 | | Austin, where Mr. Granberry earned bachelor's and master's degrees |

| 20 | 21 | | in petroleum engineering, and Mrs. Granberry earned bachelor's |

| 21 | 22 | | degrees in Spanish and French; following graduation, Mr. Granberry |

| 22 | 23 | | began his career with Amoco in Odessa, and after several moves, he |

| 23 | 24 | | came to work for Tom Brown, Inc., in Midland; throughout their |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | marriage, Mrs. Granberry has devoted herself to caring for their |

| 25 | 26 | | home and family; and |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Valued residents of the Midland community, Mr. and |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | Mrs. Granberry have been active in their church, and Mrs. Granberry |

| 28 | 29 | | has also given of her time and talents to local schools, Girl Scout |

| 29 | 30 | | troops, and Bible studies; they have lived in 12 different cities, |

| 30 | 31 | | making friends all across the United States, and they have also |
|---|
| 31 | 32 | | enjoyed traveling the world together; and |

| 32 | 33 | | WHEREAS, The six decades of marriage that Mr. and |

| 33 | 34 | | Mrs. Granberry have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning |

| 34 | 35 | | of love and commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration |

| 35 | 36 | | to all who know them; now, therefore, be it |
