 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 WHEREAS, The Canyon High School FFA Ag Issues team won first
 place in the 2024 Texas FFA State Agricultural Issues Forum, held at
 Sam Houston State University; and
 WHEREAS, The Agricultural Issues Forum Leadership
 Development Event is a contest where students research a current
 agricultural issue, create a portfolio, develop a presentation that
 outlines the pros and cons of their topic, and present their
 findings to a panel of judges; and
 WHEREAS, The Canyon High School FFA Ag Issues team of Presley
 Davis, Lilli Klose, Gunnar McConlogue, Louden McConlogue, Evey
 McIntosh, and Allison Wade delivered an exceptional presentation on
 the use of artificial intelligence in agriculture; and
 WHEREAS, Through countless hours of preparation and an
 unwavering commitment to excellence, the members of the Canyon High
 School FFA Ag Issues team have brought tremendous credit to their
 school and their community, and they may take justifiable pride in
 their outstanding accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the 89th Legislature of the State of Texas
 hereby congratulate the Canyon High School FFA Ag Issues team on
 winning first place in the 2024 Texas FFA State Agricultural Issues
 Forum and extend to all those associated with the team sincere best
 wishes for continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives and Senate.
