| 16 | 17 | | responders; in addition, guests can learn more about the exhibits |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission |

| 19 | 20 | | is the governing body of the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial |

| 20 | 21 | | Park; the nonprofit works to honor and support veterans, |

| 21 | 22 | | active-duty military, and first responders while preserving |

| 23 | 24 | | benefits from the able leadership of its chair, the Honorable |

| 24 | 25 | | Jimmie C. Edwards III; and |

| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Americans owe a profound debt of gratitude to the |

| 26 | 27 | | men and women who have risked their lives in defense of our nation, |

| 27 | 28 | | and the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission is indeed |

| 28 | 29 | | deserving of special recognition for its efforts to pay tribute to |
