9 | 9 | BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Article I, Texas Constitution, is amended by | |
11 | 11 | adding Section 37 to read as follows: | |
12 | 12 | Sec. 37. An individual has the unalienable and natural | |
13 | 13 | right to refuse a vaccination. The vaccination status of an | |
14 | 14 | individual may not be made a condition of employment, travel, | |
15 | 15 | school or other educational institution attendance, conducting | |
16 | 16 | business, receiving governmental services, or any other action in | |
17 | 17 | this state. | |
18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be | |
19 | 19 | submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 4, 2025. | |
20 | 20 | The ballot shall be printed to permit voting for or against the | |
21 | 21 | proposition: "The constitutional amendment recognizing the right | |
22 | 22 | of an individual to refuse a vaccination." |
