66 A JOINT RESOLUTION
77 proposing a constitutional amendment recognizing the right of an
88 individual to refuse a vaccination.
99 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Article I, Texas Constitution, is amended by
1111 adding Section 37 to read as follows:
1212 Sec. 37. An individual has the unalienable and natural
1313 right to refuse a vaccination. The vaccination status of an
1414 individual may not be made a condition of employment, travel,
1515 school or other educational institution attendance, conducting
1616 business, receiving governmental services, or any other action in
1717 this state.
1818 SECTION 2. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be
1919 submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 4, 2025.
2020 The ballot shall be printed to permit voting for or against the
2121 proposition: "The constitutional amendment recognizing the right
2222 of an individual to refuse a vaccination."
