| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Founded in 1915, TXCPA represents and advocates for |

| 11 | 12 | | the interests of Texas CPAs and finance professionals who work in |

| 12 | 13 | | public practice as well as in business, industry, government, and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | education; with 20 local chapters and some 28,000 members, it is the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | largest association of accounting professionals in the state; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, During the 2025 TXCPA Advocacy Day, more than 250 |

| 16 | 17 | | CPAs from across Texas will meet with legislators to discuss |

| 17 | 18 | | critical business issues and hear legislative updates; the |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | delegation will also focus attention on the importance of the |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | accounting profession to the state economy and work to advance |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | causes that support the future of the industry; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Texas Society of Certified |

| 22 | 23 | | Public Accountants has played a significant role in the prosperity |

| 23 | 24 | | of the Lone Star State, and this legislative day provides a fitting |

| 24 | 25 | | opportunity to honor the organization and its members; now, |
