| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Christian Carrera of Edinburg has distinguished |

| 9 | 9 | | himself in his responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office |

| 10 | 10 | | of State Representative R. D. "Bobby" Guerra during the 89th |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Carrera has provided |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | including scheduling, managing constituent correspondence, and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | drafting memos; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Carrera attended South Texas ISD Health |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Professions, and he is currently studying finance at The University |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | of Texas Rio Grande Valley; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Christian Carrera has performed his duties as a |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby commend Christian Carrera for his service as a |

| 27 | 27 | | legislative aide in the office of State Representative |

| 28 | 28 | | R. D. "Bobby" Guerra and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
