| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A rich and purposeful life drew to a close with the |

| 8 | 9 | | passing of Michael V. Pullin of San Antonio on December 18, 2023, at |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, The son of Vernon and Pearl Pullin, Michael Pullin |

| 11 | 12 | | was born in San Antonio on July 10, 1951; while attending high |

| 12 | 13 | | school, he worked to support his family; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Pullin benefited from the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | love and support of his wife, Brenda, with whom he shared a |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | rewarding marriage that spanned 45 years, and he took great pride in |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | his stepson, Brian; he treasured time spent with his family, and he |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need; an avid |

| 18 | 19 | | outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed going on fishing trips to Lake |

| 19 | 20 | | Amistad with his family and their dog, Gracie; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known Michael Pullin |

| 21 | 22 | | will remember the way he touched their lives with his warmth, |

| 22 | 23 | | integrity, and generosity, and he will forever hold a treasured |

| 23 | 24 | | place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 25 | 26 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Michael V. Pullin |
