| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Representatives of HCA Healthcare are gathering in |

| 8 | 9 | | Austin on February 19, 2025, for HCA Healthcare Advocacy Day at the |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Consisting of nearly 200 hospitals and some 2,400 |

| 11 | 12 | | sites of care, HCA Healthcare is one of the largest health care |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | systems in the United States and the United Kingdom; it is a |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | significant medical provider in the Dallas community, and residents |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | are fortunate to have access to a comprehensive range of care at |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | three HCA Healthcare-affiliated institutions, Medical City Dallas |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | Hospital, Medical City Children's Hospital, and Medical City Green |

| 17 | 18 | | Oaks Hospital; and |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Medical City Dallas is an award-winning, 899-bed |

| 19 | 20 | | hospital that is recognized for its state-of-the-art medical |

| 20 | 21 | | facilities, and Medical City Children's is a 254-bed campus |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | consisting of full-service children and adult hospitals, a Level IV |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | neonatal intensive care unit, and a Level IV maternal care |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | facility; a full spectrum of psychiatric services is also provided |

| 24 | 25 | | through Medical City Green Oaks, a 124-bed hospital staffed by |

| 25 | 26 | | licensed and specially trained mental health professionals; and |

| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, The physicians, staff, and administrators at these |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | hospitals have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the highest |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | standards of care, and it is fitting to recognize the positive |
|---|
| 29 | 30 | | impact they have had in the lives of countless adults, children, and |
|---|
| 30 | 31 | | families in the community they serve; now, therefore, be it |

| 31 | 32 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 32 | 33 | | Legislature hereby honor Medical City Dallas Hospital, Medical City |

| 33 | 34 | | Children's Hospital, and Medical City Green Oaks Hospital on the |
