| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Scott Campbell is retiring as superintendent of the |

| 8 | 9 | | East Chambers Independent School District in the summer of 2025, |

| 9 | 10 | | drawing to a close an exemplary tenure that has spanned 28 years; |

| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of East Chambers High School, |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Mr. Campbell holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | degree in school administration from Lamar University; in the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | course of his 41 years as an educator, he has been with East |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Chambers ISD for more than three decades; he also served as |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | superintendent of High Island ISD for two years; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to the students, |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | faculty, and staff of East Chambers ISD, Scott Campbell has led the |

| 19 | 20 | | way in fostering a supportive and challenging educational |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | environment, and he may indeed reflect with pride on a career well |

| 21 | 22 | | spent as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; now, |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
