| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Five interns from Tarleton State University, one of |

| 9 | 10 | | valuable support to the Texas Legislature during the 89th |

| 10 | 11 | | Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Since the establishment of its internship program in |

| 12 | 13 | | 2010, Tarleton State University has sent numerous students to the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | State Capitol, where they handle a wide variety of challenging |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | tasks while gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | service and learning more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; current Tarleton |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | interns are Lacy Malone, Nicholla Webb, Kaydence Vertner, Ashton |

| 18 | 19 | | Maitlen, and Madeleine Odom; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, These outstanding young people are performing their |

| 20 | 21 | | duties with skill and dedication, and they are indeed deserving of |

| 21 | 22 | | special recognition for their fine work; now, therefore, be it |

| 22 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 23 | 24 | | Legislature hereby recognize the 2025 Tarleton State University |

| 24 | 25 | | legislative interns and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
