| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends suffered an immeasurable loss |

| 8 | 9 | | with the tragic passing of Sarah Bottecelli Koller on August 25, |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Charles A. Koller and Paula |

| 11 | 12 | | Bottecelli, Sarah Koller was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on |

| 12 | 13 | | July 16, 1984, and she grew up with the companionship of four |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | younger siblings, Paul, David, Rachel, and Leah; she cherished the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | relationship she shared with her partner, Steven Konarik; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Passionate about bringing people together, |

| 16 | 17 | | Ms. Koller opened a coffee shop in Columbus, Texas; she further |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | distinguished herself as a dedicated champion for breast cancer |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | patients, and she contributed to advocacy efforts at the State |

| 19 | 20 | | Capitol; she also participated in cross-country biking events to |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | raise awareness and funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; an |

| 21 | 22 | | avid supporter of animal welfare organizations, she frequently |

| 22 | 23 | | fostered dogs; and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Above all else, Ms. Koller treasured time spent with |

| 24 | 25 | | her loved ones, and she was a source of support and inspiration to |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | all who knew her; her many hobbies included swimming, running |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | marathons, and cheering on her favorite baseball teams, and she |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | enjoyed attending rodeos and looking at Christmas lights during the |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | holiday season; and |
|---|
| 29 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Although Sarah Koller is greatly missed, her family |

| 30 | 31 | | and friends will forever cherish their memories of her warm and |
|---|
| 31 | 32 | | caring nature, her generosity, and her enthusiasm for life; now, |

| 32 | 33 | | therefore, be it |

| 33 | 34 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 34 | 35 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Sarah Bottecelli |
