| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Bobby and Lindsey Kasprzak of The Woodlands have |

| 9 | 9 | | made a meaningful difference in Montgomery County through their |

| 10 | 10 | | nonprofit, philanthropic organization, the Apricity Foundation; |

| 11 | 11 | | and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, The couple established the Apricity Foundation in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 2021 with the goal of supporting Texas-based organizations that |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | assist veterans and other residents in need and that work to advance |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | pro-life, historical preservation, and animal welfare causes; |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Mr. and Mrs. Kasprzak chose "apricity," a word that derives from |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | old English and describes the sensation of the sun's warmth on a |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | cold day, to represent the spirit of the foundation; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Since its inception, the organization has |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to smaller nonprofits |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | in Montgomery County; to date, more than 50 charities and other |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | groups have benefited from its support, including Love Heals Youth, |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | God's Garage, the Conroe Police Officers Association, the Conroe |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Noon Lions Club, and Pregnancy Assistance Center North; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Bobby and Lindsey Kasprzak's dedication to |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | philanthropy is of great inspiration to their fellow citizens, and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | they may indeed take pride in knowing that their good works have |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | touched numerous lives; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 30 | 30 | | Legislature hereby commend Bobby and Lindsey Kasprzak for their |

| 31 | 31 | | caring efforts as the founders of the Apricity Foundation and |
