| 12 | 13 | | state; the association represents a diverse membership of landscape |

| 13 | 14 | | professionals, growers and wholesalers of nursery stock, retail |

| 14 | 15 | | workers, irrigation experts, and suppliers; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, According to a study conducted by Texas A&M |

| 16 | 17 | | University, the Texas green industry generates an economic output |

| 17 | 18 | | of $39 billion and supports more than 250,000 jobs; the industry |

| 18 | 19 | | plays a vital role in the state's economy, and it benefits |

| 19 | 20 | | immeasurably from TNLA's many contributions; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, For more than eight decades, TNLA has equipped its |

| 21 | 22 | | members with the tools and guidance needed to thrive in an |

| 22 | 23 | | ever-evolving marketplace; the organization also advocates for |

| 23 | 24 | | policies that promote business growth and ensure the responsible |
