R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The State of Texas is proud to recognize the vibrant
Nepalese community and its valuable contributions to our state; and
WHEREAS, Nepal, known for its rich culture, heritage, and
strong community values, shares a deep connection with Nepalese
Americans who call Texas home; and
WHEREAS, The observance of Nepalese Day provides an
opportunity to celebrate the achievements, traditions, and
cultural impact of the Nepalese community in Texas; and
WHEREAS, March 13, 2025, is a special occasion to honor the
Nepalese people's commitment to diversity, unity, and service
within our great state; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
legislature hereby proudly recognizes March 13, 2025, as Nepalese
Day at the Texas State Capitol and encourages all Texans to join in
celebrating Nepalese heritage and contributions to our society.
