67 R E S O L U T I O N
78 WHEREAS, Graham Geisleman, a member of Forney Taekwondo,
89 achieved great distinction by winning a gold medal at the 2025 U.S.
910 Open Taekwondo Championships; and
1011 WHEREAS, Joining more than 2,100 competitors from 75
1112 countries in Reno, Nevada, Mr. Geisleman turned in an impressive
1213 performance in one of the most competitive taekwondo events in the
1314 world; competing in the boys category on February 15, he claimed top
1415 honors in the youth under-35kg sparring division, securing the
1516 third U.S. Open medal for Forney Taekwondo over the past three
1617 years; and
1718 WHEREAS, By excelling on the international taekwondo stage,
1819 Graham Geisleman has brought great pride to the community of Forney
1920 and to the Lone Star State, and his exceptional showing at the U.S.
2021 Open championship truly merits special recognition; now,
2122 therefore, be it
2223 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
2324 Legislature hereby congratulate Graham Geisleman on winning the
2425 gold medal in the youth under-35kg sparring division at the 2025
2526 U.S. Open Taekwondo Championships and extend to him sincere best
2627 wishes for continued success; and, be it further
2728 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2829 prepared for Mr. Geisleman as an expression of high regard by the
2930 Texas House of Representatives.
