| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, The Texas Honor Roll is presented annually by ERP |

| 12 | 13 | | collaboration with the Texas Business Leadership Council; the list |

| 13 | 14 | | recognizes schools and districts serving students who have received |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | high scores on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness |

| 15 | 16 | | in reading language arts and math; to be chosen for the honor roll, |

| 16 | 17 | | schools and districts must have performed above the STAAR mean |

| 17 | 18 | | score at least 80 percent of the time for all students and grades |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Pin Oak made the Texas Honor Roll in the Star |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing |

| 25 | 26 | | vitality of our state, and the administrators, faculty, and staff |

| 26 | 27 | | of Pin Oak Middle School are helping to equip many young Texans with |

| 27 | 28 | | the tools they need to reach their full potential as engaged and |

| 28 | 29 | | productive members of their community; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
