67 R E S O L U T I O N
78 WHEREAS, Rene Farias is celebrating the 45th anniversary of
89 his bail bonds agency in October 2025; and
910 WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of Mission, Rene Farias
1011 graduated from Mission High School, and shortly thereafter began
1112 working for the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office; and
1213 WHEREAS, With the help of his parents, Mr. Farias embarked on
1314 a career as a licensed bail bondsman, and in October 1980, he was
1415 approved as a licensed agent in Hidalgo County; and
1516 WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. Farias has operated Rene
1617 Farias Bail Bonds with his parents, wife, sibling, and children
1718 with the purpose of helping those in need; his is the oldest bail
1819 bond business in Hidalgo County, and he hopes the family operation
1920 will continue with future generations; and
2021 WHEREAS, Small businesses play a critical role in meeting the
2122 needs of area residents, and it is fitting that this notable
2223 enterprise be recognized for the valued services it provides to the
2324 Hidalgo County community; now, therefore, be it
2425 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
2526 Legislature hereby congratulate Rene Farias Bail Bonds on its 45th
2627 anniversary and extend to Mr. Farias and his family sincere best
2728 wishes for continued success; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Mr. Farias as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3031 House of Representatives.
