| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Rene Farias is celebrating the 45th anniversary of |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of Mission, Rene Farias |

| 10 | 11 | | graduated from Mission High School, and shortly thereafter began |

| 11 | 12 | | working for the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, With the help of his parents, Mr. Farias embarked on |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | a career as a licensed bail bondsman, and in October 1980, he was |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | approved as a licensed agent in Hidalgo County; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. Farias has operated Rene |

| 16 | 17 | | Farias Bail Bonds with his parents, wife, sibling, and children |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | with the purpose of helping those in need; his is the oldest bail |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | bond business in Hidalgo County, and he hopes the family operation |

| 19 | 20 | | will continue with future generations; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Small businesses play a critical role in meeting the |

| 21 | 22 | | needs of area residents, and it is fitting that this notable |

| 22 | 23 | | enterprise be recognized for the valued services it provides to the |

| 23 | 24 | | Hidalgo County community; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 25 | 26 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Rene Farias Bail Bonds on its 45th |
