| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Lia Ferrante has been named the 2025 Teacher of |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |

| 11 | 12 | | become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |

| 12 | 13 | | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |

| 13 | 14 | | in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The Teacher of Promise award recognizes |

| 15 | 16 | | enthusiastic and student-centered first-year teachers who have |

| 16 | 17 | | been active participants in improving their campus environment; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Lia Ferrante exemplifies the passion, |

| 18 | 19 | | determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |

| 19 | 20 | | best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |

| 21 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
