| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, A director and producer, Mr. King founded The Black |

| 11 | 12 | | Academy of Arts and Letters in 1977; he serves as president of the |

| 12 | 13 | | acclaimed nonprofit institution, which is headquartered in the Kay |

| 13 | 14 | | Bailey Hutchison Convention Center; each year, it draws more than |

| 14 | 15 | | 250,000 visitors with its programming, which celebrates the |

| 15 | 16 | | African, Caribbean, and African American experience through |
|---|
