| 12 | 12 | | Star ratings and Bib Gourmand Awards and serve to showcase |

| 13 | 13 | | restaurants that serve high-quality cuisine and provide an |

| 14 | 14 | | exceptional dining experience; recipients of the Recommended honor |

| 15 | 15 | | encompass a variety of tastes, styles, and price points, but all |

| 16 | 16 | | have distinguished themselves by meeting the stringent |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | requirements for quality established by the Michelin Guide; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, In 2014, owners Christian Magallanes and Ernest |

| 19 | 19 | | Morales began their business as a catering service after |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | successfully participating in team barbecue competitions together, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | and they later opened a food truck; their operation expanded |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | quickly, eventually occupying a restaurant space with a patio; over |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | the years, Panther City BBQ has received numerous accolades, |

| 24 | 24 | | including being named the 10th best barbecue restaurant in the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | state by Texas Monthly in 2021; and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Panther City BBQ was among three Fort Worth |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | establishments that were selected for the Recommended designation |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | by Michelin inspectors in 2024; together, these businesses are |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | helping to further the city's reputation as a vibrant culinary |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | destination; and |

| 31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, With its receipt of this prestigious honor, Panther |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | City BBQ has established itself as a shining star in Fort Worth's |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | food scene, and its management and staff may indeed take pride in |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | this impressive achievement; now, therefore, be it |

| 35 | 35 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
