8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of John |

9 | 9 | | Randal Satterwhite of Midlothian, who passed away on April 3, 2025, |

10 | 10 | | at the age of 49; and |

11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, on December 24, |
---|
12 | 12 | | 1975, John Satterwhite was the son of Randal and Carol Satterwhite, |
---|
13 | 13 | | and he grew up with the companionship of his sister, Nicole; after |
---|
14 | 14 | | moving to Calallen when he was 15, he graduated from Calallen High |
---|
15 | 15 | | School, where he played football; he went on to receive a bachelor's |
---|
16 | 16 | | degree from Texas A&M University; in 2003, he married his wife, |
---|
17 | 17 | | Kathleen, and two years later, the couple settled in Midlothian; |
---|
18 | 18 | | and |
---|
19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Satterwhite was a highly respected professional |
---|
20 | 20 | | who enjoyed a rewarding and successful career in the construction |
---|
21 | 21 | | industry; he distinguished himself as vice president of Lloyd D. |
---|
22 | 22 | | Nabors Demolition for two decades and then as a regional manager of |
---|
23 | 23 | | the ROMCO Equipment Company, and he also served on the board of |
---|
24 | 24 | | directors of the National Demolition Association; over the years, |
---|
25 | 25 | | he was recognized numerous times for his outstanding leadership; |
---|
26 | 26 | | active in his community, he coached teams in the Midlothian Youth |
---|
27 | 27 | | Football League, and he further lent his time and talents to the |
---|
28 | 28 | | organization's board and as president of the Midlothian Heritage |
---|
29 | 29 | | Football Booster Club; and |
---|
30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Deeply devoted to his family, Mr. Satterwhite was |
---|
31 | 31 | | the proud father of two children, Morgan and Ryan, and he delighted |
---|
32 | 32 | | in supporting them in their extracurricular activities; in his |
---|
33 | 33 | | leisure time, he took pleasure in playing golf and football, |
---|
34 | 34 | | attending concerts, and spending time with his dogs; and |
---|
35 | 35 | | WHEREAS, Admired for his sense of humor, generous spirit, and |
---|
36 | 36 | | commitment to his family, friends, and community, John Satterwhite |
---|
37 | 37 | | lived a rich and purposeful life, and he will forever be a source of |
---|
38 | 38 | | inspiration to those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it |
---|
39 | 39 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
---|
40 | 40 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of John Randal |
---|
41 | 41 | | Satterwhite and extend sincere sympathy to all who mourn his |
---|
42 | 42 | | passing; and, be it further |

43 | 43 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |

44 | 44 | | prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |

45 | 45 | | Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of John |
