77 R E S O L U T I O N
88 WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of John
99 Randal Satterwhite of Midlothian, who passed away on April 3, 2025,
1010 at the age of 49; and
1111 WHEREAS, Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, on December 24,
1212 1975, John Satterwhite was the son of Randal and Carol Satterwhite,
1313 and he grew up with the companionship of his sister, Nicole; after
1414 moving to Calallen when he was 15, he graduated from Calallen High
1515 School, where he played football; he went on to receive a bachelor's
1616 degree from Texas A&M University; in 2003, he married his wife,
1717 Kathleen, and two years later, the couple settled in Midlothian;
1818 and
1919 WHEREAS, Mr. Satterwhite was a highly respected professional
2020 who enjoyed a rewarding and successful career in the construction
2121 industry; he distinguished himself as vice president of Lloyd D.
2222 Nabors Demolition for two decades and then as a regional manager of
2323 the ROMCO Equipment Company, and he also served on the board of
2424 directors of the National Demolition Association; over the years,
2525 he was recognized numerous times for his outstanding leadership;
2626 active in his community, he coached teams in the Midlothian Youth
2727 Football League, and he further lent his time and talents to the
2828 organization's board and as president of the Midlothian Heritage
2929 Football Booster Club; and
3030 WHEREAS, Deeply devoted to his family, Mr. Satterwhite was
3131 the proud father of two children, Morgan and Ryan, and he delighted
3232 in supporting them in their extracurricular activities; in his
3333 leisure time, he took pleasure in playing golf and football,
3434 attending concerts, and spending time with his dogs; and
3535 WHEREAS, Admired for his sense of humor, generous spirit, and
3636 commitment to his family, friends, and community, John Satterwhite
3737 lived a rich and purposeful life, and he will forever be a source of
3838 inspiration to those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it
3939 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
4040 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of John Randal
4141 Satterwhite and extend sincere sympathy to all who mourn his
4242 passing; and, be it further
4343 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
4444 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
4545 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of John
4646 Satterwhite.
