| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Jacob Benner of Anahuac Middle School has been |

| 10 | 10 | | Series at Carnegie Hall in New York City from June 24 to 28, 2025; |

| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, An eighth-grade French horn player, Jacob was |

| 13 | 13 | | nominated for the program by his band director, Morgan Contreras; |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Jacob was subsequently invited to audition in October 2024, and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | after submitting three pieces, he earned a spot in the elite group; |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Composed of talented middle school students from all |

| 18 | 18 | | over the country, the ensemble will rehearse for three days, |

| 19 | 19 | | culminating in a performance at Carnegie Hall; in addition, Jacob |

| 20 | 20 | | and his family will use the opportunity to enjoy a trip to the Big |

| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, This gifted young Texan has demonstrated |
