77 R E S O L U T I O N
88 WHEREAS, The Reverend Allen Page III of Metropolitan
99 Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Houston is serving as
1010 Pastor of the Day for the Texas House of Representatives on May 6,
1111 2025; and
1212 WHEREAS, A native of Columbus, Georgia, Reverend Page is a
1313 graduate of Morehouse College and the Phillips School of Theology
1414 at the Interdenominational Theological Center; he has more than 25
1515 years of ministerial experience, a decade of which has been spent
1616 serving Metropolitan CME; moreover, he is the director of
1717 accounting for the Eighth Episcopal District, as well as the
1818 treasurer of its Southeast Texas Region and Houston District, and
1919 he is a member of the General Connectional Board of the Christian
2020 Methodist Episcopal Church; and
2121 WHEREAS, Allen Page exemplifies the highest standards of his
2222 vocation, and over the years, he has inspired countless Texans
2323 through his messages of faith and goodwill; now, therefore, be it
2424 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
2525 Legislature hereby honor the Reverend Allen Page III for his
2626 service as Pastor of the Day and extend to him sincere best wishes
2727 for continued success and fulfillment in his ministry; and, be it
2828 further
2929 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3030 prepared for Reverend Page as an expression of high regard by the
3131 Texas House of Representatives.
