| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The Reverend Allen Page III of Metropolitan |

| 9 | 9 | | Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Houston is serving as |

| 10 | 10 | | Pastor of the Day for the Texas House of Representatives on May 6, |

| 11 | 11 | | 2025; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A native of Columbus, Georgia, Reverend Page is a |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | graduate of Morehouse College and the Phillips School of Theology |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | at the Interdenominational Theological Center; he has more than 25 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | years of ministerial experience, a decade of which has been spent |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | serving Metropolitan CME; moreover, he is the director of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | accounting for the Eighth Episcopal District, as well as the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | treasurer of its Southeast Texas Region and Houston District, and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | he is a member of the General Connectional Board of the Christian |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Methodist Episcopal Church; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Allen Page exemplifies the highest standards of his |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | vocation, and over the years, he has inspired countless Texans |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | through his messages of faith and goodwill; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby honor the Reverend Allen Page III for his |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | service as Pastor of the Day and extend to him sincere best wishes |

| 27 | 27 | | for continued success and fulfillment in his ministry; and, be it |
