| 15 | 15 | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of the Teacher of the Year | |
| 16 | 16 | award, Teal Smith teaches second grade at Wells Elementary School; | |

| 18 | 18 | WHEREAS, This notable Texan exemplifies the passion, | |
| 19 | 19 | determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our | |
| 20 | 20 | best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all | |
| 21 | 21 | in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it | |
| 22 | 22 | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas | |
| 23 | 23 | Legislature hereby congratulate Teal Smith on her selection as the | |
| 24 | 24 | 2025 Teacher of the Year at Wells Elementary School and extend to | |
| 25 | 25 | her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important | |
