| 12 | 12 | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference | |
| 13 | 13 | in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and | |
| 14 | 14 | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, Mrs. | |
| 15 | 15 | Hamilton serves as a music teacher at Hendrick Middle School; and | |
| 16 | 16 | WHEREAS, Terri Hamilton exemplifies the passion, | |
| 17 | 17 | determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our | |
| 18 | 18 | best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all | |
| 19 | 19 | in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it | |
| 20 | 20 | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas | |
| 21 | 21 | Legislature hereby congratulate Terri Hamilton on her selection as | |
| 22 | 22 | the 2025 Teacher of the Year at Hendrick Middle School and extend | |
