| 8 | 8 | WHEREAS, Karen Berry has been named the 2025 Teacher of the | |

| 12 | 12 | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference | |
| 13 | 13 | in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and | |
| 14 | 14 | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, Mrs. | |
| 15 | 15 | Berry serves as a librarian at Hedgcoxe Elementary School; and | |
| 16 | 16 | WHEREAS, Karen Berry exemplifies the passion, determination, | |
| 17 | 17 | and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our best teachers, | |
| 18 | 18 | and she has set a standard of excellence to which all in her | |
| 19 | 19 | profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it | |
| 20 | 20 | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas | |
| 21 | 21 | Legislature hereby congratulate Karen Berry on her selection as the | |
| 22 | 22 | 2025 Teacher of the Year at Hedgcoxe Elementary School and extend to | |
| 23 | 23 | her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important | |
