| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Sabra Sauer is retiring from St. Joseph High School |

| 9 | 9 | | in Victoria in 2025, drawing to a close an outstanding career in |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | education that has spanned 38 years; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Sauer began teaching in 1987 at Bloomington High |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | School; she joined the faculty at St. Joseph High School in 1996, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | and over the course of her tenure, she has taught a range of |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | subjects, including physics, chemistry, biology, advanced biology, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | geology, anatomy and physiology, life science, and forensic |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | science; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Sauer graduated from Texas A&M University with a |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | bachelor's degree in microbiology; in addition, she received an |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | associate's degree from Victoria College and a joint teaching |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | certification from the University of Houston-Victoria and Texas |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | A&M; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Through her dedication, professionalism, and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | commitment to excellence, Sabra Sauer has helped foster a |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | supportive and challenging educational environment for countless |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | young Texans, and she may indeed reflect with pride on her many |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | achievements as she embarks on the next exciting chapter of her |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | life; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Sabra Sauer on her retirement from |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | St. Joseph High School in Victoria and extend to her sincere best |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | wishes for the future; and, be it further |

| 32 | 32 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
