| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Camille McWhorter has distinguished herself in her |

| 9 | 9 | | responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State |

| 10 | 10 | | Representative Terri Leo Wilson during the 89th Legislative |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Session; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. McWhorter has provided |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Ms. McWhorter is a junior in the honors college at |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Concordia University Texas, where she is majoring in law and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | policy; she has been recognized on the dean's list and as a moot |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | court competitor, and she also competes as a hurdler on the school's |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | track team; dedicated to community service, she has completed 250 |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | hours of mission work in the United States and abroad, and she |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | currently works as a childcare assistant at Riverbend Church; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Camille McWhorter has performed her duties as a |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |

| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 29 | 29 | | Legislature hereby commend Camille McWhorter for her service as a |
