| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Susan LeBlanc has ably served her fellow Texans as |

| 9 | 9 | | district director for Chambers County in the office of State |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Representative Terri Leo Wilson during the 89th Legislature; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. LeBlanc's resourcefulness and initiative have |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | carrying forth Representative Leo Wilson's legislative agenda have |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, For nearly three decades, Mrs. LeBlanc enjoyed a |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | rewarding career as a school nutrition director at the Lumberton |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and Barbers Hill Independent School Districts; over the years, she |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | played an instrumental role in establishing a lunch program for |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | secondary students, and she led the catering staff during district |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | events; in addition, she oversaw the creation of gardens at local |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | elementary schools, and she taught hundreds of students in the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Junior Master Gardener program; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Active in her community, Mrs. LeBlanc has given |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | generously of her time and talents to serve a number of civic |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | organizations, and she has further distinguished herself through |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | her involvement with the local and state Republican Party; she |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | holds a bachelor's degree in home economics and business from |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | McNeese State University; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Mrs. LeBlanc benefits from the |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | love and support of her husband, Tim, and she takes great pride in |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | their son, Andrew; and |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | duties as district director with skill and dedication, and she is |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |

| 37 | 37 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
