| 9 | 9 | | relating to authorizing the sale by the State of Texas of certain |

| 10 | 10 | | real property located in Austin, Texas. |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 12 | 12 | | SECTION 1. (a) As soon as practicable after the effective |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | date of this Act, the General Land Office shall offer to sell the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | real property described by Section 2 of this Act under the terms |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | provided by this section. |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (b) The General Land Office shall negotiate and close a |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | transaction under this section under Section 31.158, Natural |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Resources Code. Proceeds from the transaction shall be deposited |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | in the general revenue fund. |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (c) The sale of the real property described by Subdivision |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | (1) of Section 2 of this Act shall be contingent upon the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | construction and occupation of an alternative state records |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | facility that replaces the facility being operated on the real |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | property by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission on the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | effective date of this Act. |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | SECTION 2. The real property held by the State of Texas is |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | situated in Travis County, Texas, and more particularly described |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | as follows: |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | (1) 20.3127 acres, more or less, located at 4400 Shoal |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Creek Boulevard in Austin, Travis County, Texas, and having a legal |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | description of ABS 697 SUR 7 SPEAR G W ACR 20.3127; and |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | (2) 7.5 acres of a 66 acre tract, more or less, located |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | at 909 W. 45th Street in Austin, Travis County, Texas, and having a |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | legal description of ALL OF OLT 80&82 DIVISION D. |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
