| 11 | 16 | | SECTION 1. Sections 118.011(a) and (e), Local Government |

| 12 | 17 | | Code, are amended to read as follows: |

| 13 | 18 | | (a) A county clerk shall collect the following fees for |
|---|
| 14 | 19 | | services rendered to any person: |
|---|
| 15 | 20 | | (1) Personal Property Records Filing (Sec. 118.012): |
|---|
| 16 | 21 | | (A) for the first page$ 5.00; |
|---|
| 17 | 22 | | (B) for each additional page or part of a page on |
|---|
| 18 | 23 | | which there are visible marks of any kind$ 4.00; |
|---|
| 19 | 24 | | (2) Real Property Records Filing (Sec. 118.013): |

| 20 | 25 | | (A) for the first page$ 5.00; |
|---|
| 21 | 26 | | (B) for each additional page or part of a page on |
|---|
| 22 | 27 | | which there are visible marks of any kind$ 4.00; |
|---|
| 23 | 28 | | (C) for all or part of each 8-1/2" X |

| 62 | 67 | | Sections 552.231 and 552.262, Government Code. |

| 63 | 68 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 64 | 69 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 65 | 70 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 66 | 71 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 67 | 72 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
