| 10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Chapter 443, Government Code, is amended by | |
| 12 | 12 | adding Section 443.031 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 443.031. ADULT CHANGING STATION. (a) The board shall | |
| 14 | 14 | provide in the Capitol an adult changing station in one or more | |
| 15 | 15 | restrooms or changing facilities accessible to the general public. | |
| 16 | 16 | Each station must provide a private space to persons using the | |
| 17 | 17 | station and include an adjustable height table. | |
| 18 | 18 | (b) The board shall post in a conspicuous place a sign with | |
| 19 | 19 | clear language indicating the location in the Capitol of each | |
| 20 | 20 | restroom or changing facility with an adult changing station. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. As soon as practicable after the effective date | |
| 22 | 22 | of this Act, the State Preservation Board shall establish a place in | |
| 23 | 23 | the Capitol for a person to use a changing station as required by | |
| 24 | 24 | Section 443.031, Government Code, as added by this Act. | |
| 25 | 25 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
