| 11 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 12 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, |
|---|
| 13 | 12 | | is amended by adding Section 225.243 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 14 | 13 | | Sec. 225.243. CAMP COUNTY VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL |
|---|
| 15 | 14 | | HIGHWAY. (a) State Loop 255 in Camp County between its |
|---|
| 16 | 15 | | intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 1520 and U.S. Highway 271 is |
|---|
| 17 | 16 | | designated as the Camp County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway. |
|---|
| 18 | 17 | | The designation is in addition to any other designation. |
|---|
| 19 | 18 | | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: |
|---|
| 20 | 19 | | (1) design and construct markers indicating the |
|---|
| 21 | 20 | | designation as the Camp County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway |
|---|
| 22 | 21 | | and any other appropriate information; and |
|---|
| 23 | 22 | | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at |
|---|
| 24 | 23 | | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. |
|---|
| 25 | 24 | | SECTION 2. It is the intent of the 89th Legislature, Regular |
|---|
| 26 | 25 | | Session, 2025, that the provisions added by this Act be renumbered |
|---|
| 27 | 26 | | to prevent multiple provisions with the same designation. |
|---|
| 28 | 27 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
