88 AN ACT
99 relating to the composition, duties, and personnel of the Moore
1010 County Juvenile Board.
1111 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1212 SECTION 1. Sections 152.1771(a), (b), and (f), Human
1313 Resources Code, are amended to read as follows:
1414 (a) The Moore County Juvenile Board is composed of:
1515 (1) the county judge;
1616 (2) the judge of the County Court at Law of Moore
1717 County; and
1818 (3) not fewer than three or more than five other
1919 members [(2) six persons] appointed by the Moore County
2020 Commissioners Court.
2121 (b) The appointed members serve [staggered] two-year terms
2222 [with the terms of three members] expiring on December 31 of each
2323 even-numbered year unless the Moore County Commissioners Court
2424 votes to extend a member's term for not more than two years[, and
2525 the terms of three members expiring on December 31 of each
2626 odd-numbered year].
2727 (f) Sections 152.0002, 152.0003, 152.0004, 152.0005, and
2828 152.0006[, 152.0007, and 152.0008] do not apply to the juvenile
2929 board of Moore County.
3030 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
