| 14 | 14 | Code, is amended by adding Section 431.0215 to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | Sec. 431.0215. ADDITIONAL PROHIBITED ACTS. (a) In this | |
| 16 | 16 | section, "mRNA material" means a substance that introduces | |
| 17 | 17 | messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) corresponding to a viral protein. | |
| 18 | 18 | (b) A person may not manufacture, sell, or distribute a | |
| 19 | 19 | product developed through the use of mRNA material in the | |
| 20 | 20 | prevention or treatment of a communicable disease. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
