10 | 13 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

11 | 14 | | SECTION 1. Section 91.1013, Natural Resources Code, is |

12 | 15 | | amended by amending Subsections (a) and (b) and adding Subsection |
---|
13 | 16 | | (a-1) to read as follows: |

14 | 17 | | (a) [With each application for a fluid injection well |
---|
15 | 18 | | permit, the applicant shall submit to the commission a |
---|
16 | 19 | | nonrefundable fee of $200.] In this section: |

17 | | - | (1) "Commercial oil and gas waste separation facility" |

18 | | - | means a facility that manages but does not dispose of oil and gas |

59 | 51 | | landtreatment, or land application permit or permit amendment; |
---|
60 | 52 | | (2) $2,000 for an application for a commercial oil and |
---|
61 | 53 | | gas waste separation facility permit; |
---|
62 | 54 | | (3) $1,000 for an application for an amendment to a |
---|
68 | 60 | | SECTION 2. Section 91.1013, Natural Resources Code, as |
---|
69 | 61 | | amended by this Act, applies only to an application for the issuance |
---|
70 | 62 | | or amendment of a permit that is filed with the Railroad Commission |
---|
71 | 63 | | of Texas on or after the effective date of this Act. An application |
---|
72 | 64 | | for a permit filed before the effective date of this Act is governed |
---|
73 | 65 | | by the law in effect on the date of the filing, and the former law is |
---|
74 | 66 | | continued in effect for that purpose. |
---|
75 | 67 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
