118 relating to the school safety allotment under the Foundation School
129 Program.
1310 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
14- SECTION 1. Section 48.115, Education Code, is amended by
15- amending Subsection (a) and adding Subsection (c-2) to read as
16- follows:
11+ SECTION 1. Section 48.115(a), Education Code, is amended to
12+ read as follows:
1713 (a) Except as provided by Subsection (a-1), a school
1814 district is entitled to an annual allotment equal to the sum of the
1915 following amounts or a greater amount provided by appropriation:
20- (1) $14 [$10] for each student in average daily
16+ (1) $28 [$10] for each student in average daily
2117 attendance, plus $1 for each student in average daily attendance
2218 per every $50 by which the district's maximum basic allotment under
2319 Section 48.051 exceeds $6,160, prorated as necessary; and
24- (2) $37,000 [$15,000] per campus.
25- (c-2) Not later than December 1 of each year, each school
26- district shall submit to the agency a report accounting for the
27- expenditure of funds received under this section.

2821 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
