15 | 15 | Sec. 5A.001. ACTION BY UNLAWFULLY PRESENT INDIVIDUAL | |
16 | 16 | PROHIBITED. An individual who is unlawfully present in the United | |
17 | 17 | States according to the terms of the federal Immigration and | |
18 | 18 | Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. Section 1101 et seq.), interpreted | |
19 | 19 | consistently with federal law, may not commence a civil action. | |
20 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
