| 13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Section 43.3561, Parks and Wildlife Code, is | |
| 14 | 14 | amended by adding Subsection (l) to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | (l) Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, on | |
| 16 | 16 | the liberation onto a release site of a breeder deer to which an | |
| 17 | 17 | electronic identification device that is a button tag is attached | |
| 18 | 18 | as described by Subsection (f), a person may remove from the deer | |
| 19 | 19 | either the identification tag required by Subsection (b)(1) or the | |
| 20 | 20 | button tag, but not both tags. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
