| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 455.351, Occupations Code, is amended by | |
| 13 | 13 | adding Subsection (f-1) to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | (f-1) A civil penalty recovered in an action by a district | |
| 15 | 15 | or county attorney under this section shall be deposited to the | |
| 16 | 16 | credit of the general fund of the county where the court is located. | |
| 17 | 17 | A civil penalty recovered in an action by a municipal attorney under | |
| 18 | 18 | this section shall be deposited to the credit of the general fund of | |
| 19 | 19 | the municipality. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
