| 10 | 15 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 16 | | SECTION 1. Section 11.0621, Education Code, is amended to |
|---|
| 12 | 17 | | read as follows: |
|---|
| 13 | 18 | | Sec. 11.0621. MEETINGS. (a) The minutes[, certified |
|---|
| 14 | 19 | | agenda, or recording, as applicable,] of a regular or special |
|---|
| 15 | 20 | | meeting of the board of trustees must reflect each member's: |
|---|
| 16 | 21 | | (1) attendance at or absence from the meeting; and |
|---|
| 17 | 22 | | (2) vote on any item that is voted on by the board at |
|---|
| 18 | 23 | | the meeting. |
|---|
| 19 | 24 | | (b) The board of trustees shall post on the district's |
|---|
| 20 | 25 | | Internet website: |
|---|
| 21 | 26 | | (1) the minutes described by Subsection (a) not later |
|---|
| 22 | 27 | | than the seventh day after the date of a meeting at which a quorum of |
|---|
| 23 | 28 | | the board is present and voting; and |
|---|
| 24 | 29 | | (2) any resolution adopted by the board not later than |
|---|
| 25 | 30 | | the seventh day after the date of the meeting at which the |
|---|
| 26 | 31 | | resolution was adopted. |

| 27 | 32 | | (c) The board of trustees shall make a recording of each |
|---|
| 28 | 33 | | regular or special meeting of the board. |

| 29 | 34 | | (d) The minutes and [or tape] recording of an open meeting |
|---|
| 30 | 35 | | must be accessible to the public in accordance with Section |
|---|
| 31 | 36 | | 551.022, Government Code. |

| 32 | 37 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
