| 13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 48, Education Code, is | |
| 14 | 14 | amended by adding Section 48.1021 to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | Sec. 48.1021. SPECIAL EDUCATION FULL INDIVIDUAL AND INITIAL | |
| 16 | 16 | EVALUATION. For each student for whom a school district conducts a | |
| 17 | 17 | full individual and initial evaluation under Section 29.004 or 20 | |
| 18 | 18 | U.S.C. Section 1414(a)(1), the district is entitled to an allotment | |
| 19 | 19 | of $2,000 or a greater amount provided by appropriation. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
