| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 54.003, Health and Safety Code, as added | |
| 13 | 13 | by Chapter 1033 (S.B. 24), Acts of the 88th Legislature, Regular | |
| 14 | 14 | Session, 2023, is amended by adding Subsection (b-1) to read as | |
| 15 | 15 | follows: | |
| 16 | 16 | (b-1) Educational and informational materials provided | |
| 17 | 17 | through the program, including lesson curricula and promotional | |
| 18 | 18 | items: | |
| 19 | 19 | (1) may include only medically accurate and | |
| 20 | 20 | scientifically supported information; | |
| 21 | 21 | (2) must be provided in a non-coercive, factual | |
| 22 | 22 | manner; and | |
| 23 | 23 | (3) may not explicitly endorse any religious ideology, | |
| 24 | 24 | teaching, or practice. | |
| 25 | 25 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
