| 10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Chapter 322, Government Code, is amended by | |
| 12 | 12 | adding Section 322.021 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 322.021. REPORT ON CERTAIN CONTINGENT APPROPRIATIONS. | |
| 14 | 14 | Not later than December 1 of each odd-numbered year, the board shall | |
| 15 | 15 | submit to the legislature a report listing each appropriation in | |
| 16 | 16 | the General Appropriations Act for the preceding state fiscal | |
| 17 | 17 | biennium that was made contingent on the occurrence of a condition | |
| 18 | 18 | and took effect because the condition occurred. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. The Legislative Budget Board shall submit the | |
| 20 | 20 | initial report required under Section 322.021, Government Code, as | |
| 21 | 21 | added by this Act, not later than December 1, 2025. | |
| 22 | 22 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
