11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 2308.3151, Government Code, is amended | |
13 | 13 | by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: | |
14 | 14 | (e) Each board may reimburse a Texas Rising Star Program | |
15 | 15 | provider in the board's area at the board's maximum rate of | |
16 | 16 | reimbursement for the provider's Texas Rising Star Program rating | |
17 | 17 | level regardless of the provider's published rate only if paying | |
18 | 18 | the higher reimbursement rate does not reduce the commission's | |
19 | 19 | target performance measure for the average number of children | |
20 | 20 | served each day for children receiving subsidized child care in the | |
21 | 21 | workforce development area served by the board. | |
22 | 22 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
