10 | 10 | BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Article I, Texas Constitution, is amended by | |
12 | 12 | adding Section 37 to read as follows: | |
13 | 13 | Sec. 37. Each individual residing in this state has the | |
14 | 14 | right to refuse any medical treatment, including a procedure, | |
15 | 15 | vaccine, medical device, or prophylactic, and a person may not | |
16 | 16 | interfere with or impede that right in any manner. | |
17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be | |
18 | 18 | submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 4, 2025. | |
19 | 19 | The ballot shall be printed to permit voting for or against the | |
20 | 20 | proposition: "The constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right | |
21 | 21 | of individuals to refuse medical treatments." |
